Malta IIP Fees

Governing Regulations

The Individual Investor Programme of the Republic of Malta is regulated by the Maltese Citizenship Act (CAP. 188) and the Individual Investor Programme of the Republic of Malta Regulations, 2014 (L.N. 47 of 2014)

Applicants who undergo the application and screening process, complying with the required criteria are granted citizenship by a certificate of naturalization for both the investor/applicant and their dependent family members in return for the contribution to the economic development of Malta.

Processing Service Fees

Non-Refundable Contribution

EUR 10,000 is payable towards the EUR 650,000 Government Contribution, upon submission of the E-Residency permit (Step 1 of the Malta IIP application).

The non-refundable Government contribution of EUR 650,000 is only due after the IIP application is approved.

Should a spouse be included on the application then a further contribution of EUR 25,000 should be made. If any under 18 children/dependent children up to 26 years of age are included, then an additional EUR 25,000 is payable per individual. Any dependent parent/grandparent over 55 included in the application will also require an additional EUR 50,000 contribution per individual.

Due Diligence Disbursements

The following are due diligence disbursements payable to the Maltese government or MIIPA .

Due diligence fee for the main applicant – EUR 7,500

Due diligence fee for applicant’s spouse – EUR 5,000

Due diligence for dependents 3-18 – EUR 3,000.
